The Arizona Western College Lady Matadors softball team (35-23) split a doubleheader with 2nd ranked Mesa Community College (45-18) today by the scores of 5-0 and 3-9.
Arizona Western College Lady Matador head coach Pam Stone stated, “This kinda backs us into the wall. We played great in the first game, but were inconsistent in Game 2. Now, it’s official. We can’t afford any more inconsistency if we want to make the playoffs.” AWC’s Next Game: at Central Arizona Community College Saturday 1:00 PM (Coolidge). |
