The 21st ranked Arizona Western College Softball Lady Matadors (24-16) completed their CAC Invitational tournament splitting 4 games. AWC defeated Illinois Central (1-6) in the opener 8-5. In the second game Saturday AWC lost to Miami-Dade (21-10-1) 9-12 then the Matadors went on to beat 7th Ranked Odessa (23-11) in their final game Saturday 9-0.
Arizona Western lost their final game to 3rd ranked Phoenix College (30-6) by the score of 4-2. AWC’s Next Game: vs. (1) Pima Tuesday 2:00PM (AWC Softball Field) |
