Arizona Western College Matadors (9-4) drop a very close match to Pima College (10-2) 1-0. Despite playing Pima College very close the Matadors could not muster any scoring.
Kenny DaleMatador Head Coach stated,: “Pima’s very good. Their goalkeeping is just excellent, and if you’re asking me for a ‘Man of the Match’, I can’t give it to anyone else but him (Roman Acosta). They play strong when they need to, and they play smart when they need to. They play with their hands, their goalkeeping is very good, and they’re trained well. Our guys opened them up a couple of times, but we just weren’t able to seal the deal.
