The Arizona Western Matador mens soccer team (9-3) defeat the Scottsdale Community College (0-11) on an Artichoke mistake. Scottsdale put the ball into their own net for the only scoring in the match that handed the Matadors the victory.
Head Coach Kenny Dale stated “We didn’t play great, but we played steady. It was essentially a youth soccer facility that has a really small field, so it was very difficult to create any real scoring chances. James Grant got close a couple of times (hit the crossbar), but we didn’t have many other opportunities.” AWC’s Next Game: is vs. Pima College Wednesday 2:30PM (Tucson) |
