Arizona Western College Matadors defeated Phoenix College in men's soccer 2-0 last night. Damien Hoyte (4) and Charles Conway (3) provided the scoring for AWC.
Matador's Head Coach Kenny Dale stated, “This was the toughest team we faced this year, and it was the best performance our team has had since I’ve been at AWC. We played on their football field, which is not conducive to our abilities, but we stuck it out and got the job done.” AWC improved their record to 5-2 and the next match at South Mountain Saturday Noon (Phoenix) |
