Yuma, Arizona - The Arizona Western College Matador Soccer Team (7-3), dropped a very close match to Yavapai College (10-0) by the score of 2-1.
AWC's Head Coach Kenny Dale stated "We played great for 88 minutes. We just got to a point where they had one attack on the left flank and got a fortunate bounce. Our guys just played as hard as they could. We generally play at the level of our competition, and tonight, that meant something good yes. We just have to train ourselves to play at a higher level-regardless of who the opponent is. AWC’s Next Game is vs. Mesa Wednesday 6PM (AWC Soccer Field) |
