The Arizona Western College Lady Matadors Basketball team (7-7) dropped their final game of the Yavapai Classic Tournament to Bismarck State (9-6) by the score of 70-68 Saturday.
Head Coach Patrick Cunningham stated, “We shot the ball much better today, and we had much better balance in the scoring column. Unfortunately, they shot it just a little better than we did. Not having our second-leading scorer really hurt us, but it was nice to see some of our other girls really step up in Katrina’s absence.” AWC Lady Matadors Next Game: vs. Eastern Arizona Wednesday 5:30PM (‘The House’-AWC Campus) |
