The Arizona Western College Matadors Football Team (1-5) prevailed in a hard fought gridiron battle against Pima College (1-6) of Tucson on the road 35-0. Despite the opportunistic play of Pima they could not get untracked against the Matadors, as they were limited to 3 yards rushing. Arizona Western College head coach James Pryor stated, “I’m just happy for the players. They’ve worked hard ever since training camp and it’s nice to finally see that pay off with a victory.” AWC’s Next Game: @ Scottsdale Community College - Saturday 7:00PM (Scottsdale) |
