The Arizona Western College Matadors Football Team (0-5) were beaten and kept in their place by Eastern Arizona Community College (6-0) on the road 7-41. The Matadors lost their starting quarterback Zach Galvin to a broken clavicle on AWC’s first offensive series and the game never got any better.
The game marked the quarterbacking debut of freshman Karl Chick for the Matadors.
