AWC Basketball – Lady Matadors Lose Overtime Thriller

The Arizona Western lady Matadors (2-3) lost in overtime 69-67 to Otero College (7-2) yesterday at the Husky Invitational Tournament in Colorado. Coach Patrick Cunningham stated, “We played a poor first half, and lost our composure in a physical contest. We played a really good second half, though, and we learned a lot by going into overtime. We need to learn how to do the little things, but we’re progressing.” The Lady Matadors take on Sheridan College Today at 9:00 AM (Husky Invitational-Colorado Springs, CO)
