The Arizona Western College Lady Matador basketball team (16-10) defeated the Scottsdale Community College Artichokes (3-21) by the score of 73-58 last night.
AWC Head Coach Patrick Cunningham stated, “It’s amazing how many good things can happen when you try to push the tempo, and the kids believe in doing it. Once our girls figured out that they could run, and Scottsdale wasn’t going to run with them, it opened everything up for us.” AWC’s Next Game: Men: at Eastern Arizona Saturday 7:30PM (Thatcher) Women: at Eastern Arizona Saturday 5:30PM (Thatcher) |
