 The 2nd ranked Arizona Western College Men's Basketball team (8-0) defeated Phoenix Community College (4-1) handing the Bears their first loss of the season 95-82 at home.
AWC Head Coach Kelly Green stated, “In the first half defensively, we had a lot of intensity. We didn’t keep that up in the second half, and closing out the game. In the first half, I thought Matt Gonzales set the defensive tone. Our size gave them problems, our rebounding was strong, and we never let them have open looks.” Next Game is at Yavapai Community College Wednesday 7:30PM (Prescott). |
