The 2nd ranked Arizona Western Matadors mens basketball team (9-1) defeated Cochise Community College (6-4) last night by the score of 73-65.
Matador head coach Kelly Green exclaimed, “You don’t always sleep very well after high-energy games like this. And while we didn’t rebound well-again-we got some great bench play from Bernard Cherry and Leonard Holland, our starters made some good defensive plays down the stretch, and it was a good win for us.” AWC’s Next Game: Men: vs. South Mountain Wednesday 7:30PM (‘The House-AWC Campus) Women: vs. South Mountain Wednesday 5:30PM (‘The House-AWC Campus) |
