The Arizona Western College Matador baseball team (18-17) split a doubleheader with South Mountain Community College (22-13) losing the first game 4-5, then winning the second game 6-5 Saturday in Yuma, Arizona.
AWC head coach John Stratton stated, “Tyler summed it up: ‘It’s about darn time!’” He’s right. It’s about time we won a game in that fashion, and it’s about time we got the hits when we had to have them!” AWC’s Next Game: vs. 2nd ranked Cochise Community College in a doubleheader Tuesday Noon (Kammann Field-AWC Campus) |
