The Arizona Western College Matador baseball team (23-22) split a doubleheader with Yavapai Community College (29-17) this afternoon by the scores of 0-4 and 5-1.
Matador head coach John Stratton stated, “I thought it was a good day of baseball. Both teams played well. We did our job against that team this year, since we won 3 of 4 from the 2-time defending Region I Champs. Joe’s performance was great, and it couldn’t happen to a nicer kid.
