The Arizona Western College Matador Baseball team (2-3) dropped their 1st game of the Coyote Slugout Baseball Tournament to the Community College of Southern Nevada (3-2) by the score of 12-4 yesterday.
Matador Head Coach John Stratton stated, “We were mentally ‘out to lunch’ from the very beginning. We gave up an unearned run right off the bat, came back strong with our bats, and then gave it all right back to them with the unearned runs. It was-by far-our worst effort of the season.” .
